Counselling in Ealing

I believe that we can all face many challenges in our lives; this may be due to our genetic make-up, what our family upbringing was like or just what life throws at us whatever age we are.  We may experience emotional distress when our relationships are not working well, or we are coping with the aftermath of bereavement or loss or we are trying to manage a life crisis.  We may be feeling unhappy, isolated and alone without really understanding why.  Our physical health could also be suffering.  We may find that trying to manage our difficulties on our own or even with the support of friends or family is not working.

Although, I believe we all do our best to survive some very difficult experiences, sometimes we can struggle and find that our usual ways of coping are no longer working for us.

If you are feeling stuck and would like to explore alternative ways of managing your difficulties, then you may benefit from accessing psychological therapy with a trained counsellor.

What I can offer:

I am a qualified and registered counsellor who can offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where together we can explore the difficulties that you may be experiencing and find a way of moving forward that is right for you.

As an integrative practitioner, I respect and value the uniqueness of every person and will draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to find ways of working with you that meet your individual needs.  Whether you would like a few sessions to focus on a specific issue and gain some support around a current crisis or whether you would like to explore your issues in more depth which can involve thinking back to your early history and starting to unravel what may have gone wrong for you, then I can help.

I believe that counselling and psychological therapy can help us to understand ourselves better and although we cannot change what has happened to us in the past, hopefully, over time we can begin to feel less weighed down by the expectations and traumas from the past and through self-acceptance we can find new ways of leading more satisfying lives in the present.

If you would like to consider therapy, please contact me, without obligation, on 01748 902547 or by emailing me at jillcurzontherapy@gmail.com to find out more about how counselling and psychological therapy might be able to help you, or to arrange an initial appointment.
